GARDEN: Progress

Thought I would just post some progress shots from the gardens (front and back) progress is definitely slow as the house has to be the priority, but it is amazing how the little things we manage to accomplish do make a big difference and do make you feel better about the space. Overall we both feel so hugely blessed to have the gardens we have in the position we have - it's the main reason why we bought the house! And we know that we will get it all sorted one day and it will be wonderful, but for now its little by little and appreciating every step of the journey. Here's what we've been up to....

LIFTING THE FLAGSTONES FROM THE FRONT TO LAY DOWN THE GRASS SEED

LOCATION OF THE NEW VEGETABLE GROWING BOX

THE NEW VEGETABLE GROWING BOX ASSEMBLED - I AM GOING TO PAINT THE FENCE BEFORE PLANTING IT UP THOUGH

PUSSY WILLOW (OFFICIAL NAME APPARENTLY: GOAT WILLOW OR SALLOW) WHICH I BOUGHT IN TESCOS BECAUSE IT WAS LOOKING RATHER SAD, (AND IT WAS ONLY £3.50!!) IT HAS ABSOLUTELY THRIVED SINCE I'VE PLANTED IT IN THE FLOWERBED THOUGH - I'M SO PLEASED :)
